Combining passion and experience
All Aboard Ohio’s internship program gives students and emerging professionals the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful work that advances passenger rail across Ohio. Interns work alongside staff and organizational leaders on real projects spanning communications and marketing, public policy and advocacy, and nonprofit operations, building practical skills while helping move our mission forward.

Communications & Creative
Help tell All Aboard Ohio’s story and connect with audiences across digital platforms. Volunteers contribute skills in social media, design, video, and content development to expand AAO’s reach and keep Ohioans engaged with our work.
Advocacy & Research
Support AAO’s advocacy with the research and information needed to engage decision-makers, communities, and the public. Volunteers help us understand public processes, identify opportunities for engagement, and strengthen the research behind our statewide advocacy.
Public Engagement Process Researcher
Development & Fundraising
Help build the resources and relationships that sustain All Aboard Ohio’s work. Volunteers identify funding opportunities, cultivate connections with supporters and partners, and strengthen the organization’s capacity to grow its impact.
Engagement & Outreach
Help connect people with All Aboard Ohio and create meaningful ways for them to get involved. Volunteers strengthen relationships with members, chapters, communities, and fellow volunteers while expanding AAO’s presence across the state.
