As the Communications Director for All Aboard Ohio, I am incredibly proud to share that our volunteer team has been nominated for the prestigious 2025 ServeOhio Awards. A Year of Remarkable Accomplishments

Our Communications Team has set new standards for what volunteerism can achieve. Over the past year, we’ve accomplished so much together, including:

  • Revolutionizing Digital Engagement: We increased social media engagement by 135% and redesigned our website to double visitor traffic, making it more user-friendly and informative. Blog views surged nearly 400%, showing our ability to create compelling, impactful content that resonates.

  • Strengthening Community Connections: We established a new chapter in Dayton, achieving unprecedented engagement levels with nearly double the attendance of our other chapters. This success came with securing media interviews and helping amplify the voices of local advocates.

  • Advancing Advocacy: Through our collaboration on the LinkUs initiative, we played a pivotal role in the successful passage of Issue 47. From virtual tours to newsletters and social media campaigns, our work helped galvanize grassroots support for sustainable transit in Central Ohio.

  • Diversifying Revenue Streams: Launching a revamped merchandise store with over 25 new products not only exceeded sales expectations but also reinforced our branding and engagement with supporters.

  • Rebranding for Connection and Longevity: This year, we led a comprehensive rebranding effort to bridge generational gaps and create an identity that resonates with diverse audiences across Ohio. By incorporating elements that appeal to people of all ages and backgrounds, we’ve strengthened our connection with the communities we serve and reinforced the timeless relevance of sustainable transportation.

Looking Ahead to the ServeOhio Awards

The ServeOhio Awards will be held on March 7, 2025, in Columbus, and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate all that we’ve accomplished together. Regardless of the outcome, I am grateful for the opportunity to lead such a talented and committed team.

Please join me in congratulating our Communications Team for this well-deserved honor. Together, we’ve proven the power of volunteerism, collaboration, and creativity in driving meaningful change for communities across Ohio.
