All Aboard Ohio highlighted the potential economic impact of expanded passenger rail in Ohio during a brief Zoom call Thursday morning.
Rob Moore, principal for Scioto Analysis, gave an overview of the potential economic impact of the 3C+D corridor project, which would link the state’s four largest cities.
His report estimated the Cleveland-Elyria region could see a one-time economic boost of $14.24 million, with between $3.9 to $6.9 million coming in annually. The report estimated a $100,000 to $170,000 annual tax revenue.
