Are you passionate about expanding passenger rail and public transit options in Northwest Ohio? Do you have a knack for grassroots organizing and fundraising? All Aboard Ohio, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to enhancing intercity passenger rail service and public transit across the state, is looking for enthusiastic and committed board members like you!


As a board member, you’ll join a diverse and dynamic group of Ohio residents who share a vision for innovative and balanced transportation solutions that benefit all Ohioans. Your role will involve attending virtual meetings once a month, participating in a committee that typically meets monthly, and contributing to the ongoing growth and leadership of our board.


This is an exciting opportunity to channel your enthusiasm for community engagement and advocacy while playing a crucial role in shaping the future of Ohio’s transportation. St. Louis must spend $1.4 million to modify new trains that are too tall for their tunnels, but Cleveland cannot acquire these units due to critical voltage and door incompatibilities. Despite sharing the Siemens S200 model name, the fleets are mechanically unique, validating GCRTA's decision to custom-engineer its own vehicles rather than relying on shared designs.
