We’re kicking off the season of giving with a call to action for our passenger rail supporters—help us reach our $5,000 goal this Giving Tuesday. Your donation will directly support economic studies, staff, community advocacy, and education in the statehouse. These funds are critical to the work that we do, and will help us expand our influence as the state’s only passenger rail advocacy organization.

What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global movement dedicated to giving back to our communities and nonprofit organizations that need our help, whether that’s through donating time, money, or other resources. This year, make a donation now through Dec. 2 to help us reach our Giving Tuesday goal.

Your Donation in Action

As a nonprofit organization, much of what we create—from blogs and news exclusives to social media posts and passenger advocacy resources—relies on volunteers and limited staff.

Your Giving Tuesday donation will fund the tools that help our organization. Tabling Kits increase visibility, spark conversations, and allow our Chapters to grow all across Ohio. Economic studies collect crucial data to align how our work improves the lives of the population represented in the statehouse, strengthening passenger rail momentum. Advocacy Kits include all the facts and talking points you need to contact your representatives and advocate effectively. Help us continue this work and expand our impact all across the state.

3 Ways You Can Make a Difference

  1. Make a donation on our Giving Tuesday page on or before Dec. 2.

  2. Subscribe to our newsletter. When you sign up, you’re helping All Aboard Ohio speak on behalf of Ohioans who support passenger rail.

  3. Share the Giving Tuesday 2025 page with your community. If they aren’t able to donate, encourage them to subscribe to our newsletter.

  4. Follow us on social media. Your engagement helps spread our message across all platforms and helps put us in front of new audiences.

You can also make an annual pledge with a Paid Membership and get exclusive access to voting privileges, discounts on most AAO merchandise, and more.

Our Mission

We advocate for better transit and passenger rail throughout the Midwest. Your support helps us.

St. Louis must spend $1.4 million to modify new trains that are too tall for their tunnels, but Cleveland cannot acquire these units due to critical voltage and door incompatibilities. Despite sharing the Siemens S200 model name, the fleets are mechanically unique, validating GCRTA's decision to custom-engineer its own vehicles rather than relying on shared designs.

Midwest passenger trains are selling out more often and ridership is climbing in the region. In Ohio this is a sign of future success but lack of new trains may constrain abilities to grow.
