All Aboard Ohio Announces Full Speaker Lineup and Agenda for The Ohio Rail Summit

COLUMBUS, OH — All Aboard Ohio today announced the full speaker lineup and official agenda for The Ohio Rail Summit, taking place April 18 at the Energy Advancement & Innovation Center on The Ohio State University campus.
The inaugural Summit brings together national leaders, policymakers, advocates, and local officials at a pivotal moment for passenger rail, as Ohio and neighboring states advance planning efforts, engage with federal programs, and position projects for implementation.

The Summit will feature a dynamic lineup of national and regional voices, including:
Joel Szabat, Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at Amtrak
Sean Jeans-Gail, Vice President of Policy & Government Affairs at the Rail Passengers Association
Hayden Clarkin (The Transit Guy), national transit advocate and content creator
Featured Panel: Regional Momentum, National Context
A four-person panel will bring together perspectives from across the passenger rail ecosystem—highlighting how national policy, regional coordination, and local leadership are shaping Ohio’s path forward:
Jon Davis, Midwest Interstate Passenger Rail Commission - Discussing the Midwest’s planning for passenger rail and the benefits of collaboration between states
Derrick James, Senior Policy Advocate, Environmental Law & Policy Center - Discussing national passenger rail and the role of advocacy in driving change
Linda Pitt, Mayor of Crestline, Ohio - Discussing how Ohio communities benefit from passenger rail and are engaging in the conversation
