Join the Northeast Ohio Chapter of AAO for a Happy Hour to meet fellow passenger rail advocates. We will give a brief update on the latest news impacting passenger rail in Ohio and throughout the country. Ride the Red Line and meet us in Duck Island, just around the corner from the West 25th / Ohio City RTA station. The entrance to Forest City Brewery is on the Freeman Ave. side of the building.
As an optional bonus after the meeting, some of us will ride the Red Line over to Tower City and back so that we can use the old Shaker Line platforms in Tower City. Westbound Red Line vehicles are using those tracks and platforms (on the other side of the north wall of the station) to accommodate track work on Track 13. These platforms have only infrequently been accessible in the last 30 years. Some rail advocates…
