About the event
Please join the Cleveland Chapter of All Aboard Ohio for a presentation of the Red Line Realignment from the proposal's author, Mark Zannoni. This proposal would create a new subway under downtown Cleveland with stations at East 9th & Prospect, East 17th & Euclid (Playhouse Square / CSU), and East 22nd & Community College Ave. Originally proposed in 2021 as a reroute of the Red Line, RTA's subsequent announcement of fleet consolidation would make this proposal even more useful, as Shaker Line trains could also use it. Imagine a one-seat ride from anywhere on the Rapid system to the heart of downtown, dropping you off right at Playhouse Square, Cleveland State, or the Central Business District along East 9th near Progressive Field.
This meeting will be in person at Shaker Heights Public Library (Main Branch) near the Lee Rd station on the Blue Line. We will also broadcast the presentatio…
