AAO Southwest Ohio Chapter Inaugural Meeting

Over a year ago, Amtrak proposed a major expansion of passenger rail service in Ohio and created the “Connects Us” Plan to help determine the feasibility and costs of passenger rail services in Ohio. Passenger connectivity has been shown to have a positive impact on economies, and jobs, and Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has recently requested that the Ohio Rail Development Commission (ORDC) engage with Amtrak to determine the feasibility and costs of improved and expanded passenger rail service in Ohio. 

Join us to learn more about this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and how we can help Ohio express interest in adding new corridors, as proposed in Amtrak's "Connects US" plan, including such as the 3C+D Corridor, connecting Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Dayton.

All Aboard Ohio is a passenger rail advocacy group that is in the process of developing a Southwest Ohio team for outreach to Ohioans, communities, cities, villages, and counties to help them understand the positive impact of more and better passenger rail in Ohio and to get them to raise their hand and show that Ohio wants passenger rail!
