COLUMBUS, OH - At a time when Ohio’s role in regional rail planning hangs in the balance, All Aboard Ohio is calling advocates, leaders, and community members to come together for its 2025 Annual Meeting, Ohio’s Future: Built by Rail, on Saturday, July 12, at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center in Columbus.

As the state budget nears finalization, the future of passenger rail in Ohio remains uncertain, but one thing is clear: this is not the moment to step back. It’s time to regroup, recommit, and show that Ohioans are ready to fight for a connected, sustainable future.

“After a brutal budget season, it’s more important than ever to show up, speak out, and plan for what comes next.”

The Annual Meeting is All Aboard Ohio’s flagship event, featuring a full day of speakers, panels, and strategy sessions focused on strengthening Ohio’s passenger rail system. Programming this year will be anchored in three core areas:

  • Economic impact - how rail can unlock long-term growth and workforce access;

  • Social impact - highlighting the institutions and communities that benefit from rail connectivity;

  • Individual impact - with stories and testimonials from riders and partners that reveal how access to passenger rail changes lives.

Tickets include breakfast, a boxed lunch, and access to all programming. Members also receive exclusive admittance to a Friday evening reception on July 11 - a casual, members-only event to kick off the weekend with conversation and connection.

Over the past year, All Aboard Ohio has helped secure major federal investments, supported multi-state rail planning, and led a statewide push for stronger representation in rail decision-making. The work continues, regardless of what happens in the final budget.

“If the state won’t give us a seat at the table, we’ll build one ourselves.”

Join us on July 12 in Columbus. Let’s turn momentum into movement.

Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available now. Visit allaboardohio.org/event-details/2025-annual-meeting-2 to reserve your spot.
