About the event
All Aboard Ohio is excited to launch our newest chapter in Athens! This first gathering, held on the Ohio University campus, will introduce local advocates, students, and community members to the movement for better passenger rail service in Ohio.
Southeast Ohio is not currently included in Corridor ID planning, but Athens has a strong voice and a vital role to play. This inaugural meeting is an opportunity to:
Learn about All Aboard Ohio’s statewide advocacy work and upcoming priorities
Discuss the unique transportation needs of Athens and surrounding communities
Explore ways to bring university voices, local leaders, and residents into the passenger rail conversation
Connect with others who believe in a stronger, more connected future for Ohio
